It is with great sorrow and a heavy heart that we heard the news of our friend and colleague K. Sagadiyev, an eminent academic and public figure, a statesman, doctor of economic sciences, professor, deputy of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan (III and IV convocations), and full member of the National Academy of Sciences, passing away.
We had the pleasure of hosting Prof Sagadiyev in Cambridge on 18 March 2017. He attended the Roundtable on 25 Years of Independence, Sovereignty and Diplomatic Relations chaired by Dr Saxena.
The roundtable was followed by the launch of Prof Sagadiyev's book Reforms in Kazakhstan: An Analytical View published by Cambridge Scientific Publishers, edited by P. Kalra (CCAF) in English.
