Dr Adham Khudaykulov is Rector of Tashkent Technical University (TashTech). He was an Associate Professor at the Tashkent State University of Economics, Deputy Director General of the Council for Higher Education, Uzbekistan. He holds research affiliation with the Cambridge Central Asian Forum, University of Cambridge. Dr. Khudaykulov received PhD in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge in 2021, working under supervision of Prof Siddharth Saxena. His PhD focused on regulative regimes and their impact on development in Central Asia. His interests lie in models of development for developing countries like Uzbekistan. He worked in University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) and Ministry of Education in Uzbekistan before coming to Cambridge. He studied in Nottingham, UK and Tokyo, Japan for his Masters degrees.
