Professor Sydykov's Visit to Cambridge 21 November 2016

Professor Yerlan Battashevitch Sydykov and his delegation from Eurasian National University in Kazakhstan visited University of Cambridge on the 21st of November 2016. During the meeting between Professor Sydykov and the Head of Cavendish Laboratory, Professor Andy Parker, an MOU was signed between Eurasian National University and University of Cambridge. This memorandum has been signed to work on a mutual project to establish a Centre for Quantum Materials. The signing ceremony included Head of School of Physical Sciences, Professor Lindsay Greer, Dr Siddharth Saxena and Dr Malte Grosche of Cavendish Laboratory. 

Professor Sydykov and Vice Rector for International Relations, Professor Somzhurek also held meetings with Professor Peter Nolan, Centre of Development Studies, University of Cambridge and members of Cambridge University Kazakh Society.
