Assel Zhanasova was appointed to the post of Vice Minister of Trade and Integration. Assel did her undergraduate in University of Cambridge and worked with the Cambridge Central Asia Forum in her time in Cambridge. She was the President of the Cambridge University Kazakhstan Society which worked closely with Central Asia related academic and cultural events.
