'Nomadic Oecumene as the Periphery of Sedentary World and the Center of Islamization: archaeology of the earliest Islamic community in highland Central Asia'

Abstract: The talk will present the results of the recent Uzbek-American archaeological mission in the higlands of Uzbekistan, namely the Tashbulak cemetery in Jizzakh Province (Pamir mountains).
