Abstract : This talk will discuss the influence of the economic integration exemplified by the Eurasian Economic Union on the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the corporate sector of Kazakhstan. The talk will identify the effects of the Union on Kazakhstani enterprises using data collected from small-, medium-, and large-sized Kazakh companies.
Biography: Dr. Asel Jumasseitova is a professor in Kazakh British Technical University (Almaty, Kazakhstan). She is an economist whose works lies at the intersection of international economics, regional trade agreements, development economics, and business management. Dr. Jumasseitova's current research endeavours are centered on the implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles within the context of the Kazakhstani economy and regional integration.
