Kyrgyz Republic : a new trend in evolution of democratic institutions in Eurasia region
Biography: HE Gulnara Iskakova has previously served as Permanent
Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United Nations Office at
Geneva. She has taught law at the American University in Central Asia
from 1998 to 2010. From 1998 to 2004, she was the Head of the Law
Department at the University, setting up the Department and developing
the curriculum as well as teaching. She taught law at the Law Department
of the Kyrgyz National University from 1992 to 1998, and taught law at
the International University of Kyrgyzstan from 1996 to 1997,
concurrently working at the Moscow and Tashkent offices of the
International Committee of the Red Cross.
