Uzbek Youth Culture – Meet (or Discover?) the Dynamic, Creative Millennials!'

Biography: The speaker is Temur Yusupov, a recent graduate from the Westminster International University in Tashkent. He will shed a light on the social aspect of the life of young people in Uzbekistan, what moves and motivates them. This won't be a standard talk on the achievements of the country itself, rather, there will be an exploration of the culture and mentality surrounding the youth. Topics will range from fashion to cuisine; from sport to art-house theatres; and from chayxana culture to start-up culture. You will be able to discover the concerns that today's youth faces, as well as the opportunities that there are for those, who strive for a better, brighter future for themselves and their society.
