Biography: Emma Dick is Senior Lecturer in Visual Culture, Fashion at

geographically in Asia (Bhutan, Turkey, Central and South-East Asia).
She is interested in how issues of the postcolonial collide with ideas
of the postmodern to foreground issues of ethics and appropriation in
cross-border trade and the global business of fashion.
