Discussion led by Dr Jamshed Safarov, Counsellor, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in London

During recent gathering in Tashkent of several hundred imams and religious leaders, along with officials and public representatives, President of Uzbekistan HE Mr Shavkat Mirziyoev made a landmark speech and had an extensive discussion highlighting current government’s endeavours to manage complex set of issues in close consultations with quite a wide spectrum of actors and stakeholders. Dr Safarov will outline the main points made by the President of Uzbekistan and the current developments in Uzbekistan in general. His presentation will be followed by a discussion.
